Our impact
Where the money went
The Bexley Gridiron Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Every dollar goes to Bexley football, grades 3 through 12 — here is exactly what that bought last season.
$30,000+
put back into the program last season. Equipment, coaching and events, from third grade through varsity.
Where it went
What your money buys
- Three tackling sleds and the blocking chute, restored. Stripped, refinished and re-padded rather than replaced, which made the money go further.
- 140 practice jerseys for the high school and middle school programs.
- A new flip sled, which the program didn’t have before.
- Two Rack Attacks - portable pads that clamp to a squat rack and give players targets for several techniques.
- A four-way tackling dummy.

Beyond equipment
Coaching, training and a season opener
- Structured strength training. The club set up a program with Bexley Strength so players train on a real plan through the off-season, and covered a shirt for every participant with variations for those who hit strength milestones.
- The Tip of the Spear camp. A Thursday evening clinic for every Bexley coach, then Friday camps for players at every level, taught by former NFL player Mike Pollak. It covers the principles of contact, tackling, blocking and block destruction. It was taught in a way that keeps the head out of the game.
- The youth program’s end-of-year banquet, so the youngest players get a night that looks like the varsity one.
- The first Gridiron Club Block Party, the week before the season opener, to start the year off together.
Plus the smaller things that never make a list, the ones a program notices only when nobody covers them.

Give
This season needs the same
Everything above came from people in Bexley giving what they could. The 2026 season runs on the same thing.
