About the Gridiron Club
“The strength of the Pride is the Lion, and the strength of the Lion is the Pride.”
The Bexley Gridiron Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 2025. It raises money and rallies the community behind Bexley football, grades 3 through 12 — youth tackle, middle school, and high school — for players, parents, alumni, students, and Bexley residents alike.
What guides it
The club runs on three principles — #FGW: Family, Grit, Win. Family is how we treat ourselves and each other: accountability, leadership, wellness; overcommunicate, be selfless, respect always. Grit is how we practice and prepare: discipline, toughness, poise; build strength and speed, study film, set goals. Win is what those add up to.
How it’s run
The club is governed by a volunteer board of nine or more directors serving alternating two-year terms, including four officers — President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The board meets at least ten times a year, at times and places open to the membership, reorganizes each January, and selects officers annually at the end of the season. Membership classes and annual dues are set by the Executive Board under the club’s bylaws.
Where the money goes
Memberships, donations, fundraisers, and sponsorships fund support for every level of Bexley football. If you want in — and there’s a place for everyone — start here.
